That was actually my first deck. The deck was blank so i didn't sand it, but if it had some other layer i would have sanded it. If it were tore up I know some people would gesso and sand so its flat.
But as far as after i'm done, I haven't sealed any of my stuff yet but I think i'll get some for the deck because i know it'll get tore up if i take it outside.
